Videography

After finding photography in high school, I eventually began pursuing opportunities in media production in college. This included server as an Editorial Producer for Fuse TV Manchester, a student-led production company at the University of Manchester in Manchester, England. From there I served as a Floor Director at KBIA at the University of Missouri, where I operated a variety of cameras and production equipment to help produce the best possibles product for shows like “Intersection” and “Radio Friends with Paul Pepper.”

Below are some of my favorite video pieces that I’ve either directed, shot, and edited.

RIGHT: Strings Attached (2018) was a short feature video that I directed and edited. It tells the story of K.C. Strings, a Merriam, Kansas-based violin maker. This piece was submitted to IFCKC’s annual shorts contest and claimed third prize.

ABOVE: Radio Friends with Paul Pepper is a weekly program produced by KBIA at the Reynolds Journalism Institute at the University of Missouri. In the sample above, I served as floor director, operating the camera to obtain the best framing possible for that week’s guests, a folk music duo.

BELOW: Society Swap was a digital show that covered local happenings around Manchester. It was produced by FuseTV Manchester, a student-led media production company at the University of Manchester in Manchester, England. In this episode covering the Salford Waterpark, I served as director and camera operator.
